World Friendship Day in Seoul
The Friendship Force of Seoul celebrated WFD with a gala luncheon, attended by 21 members, including three new members, at a restaurant in southern Seoul.
The highlight of the event was a unanimous decision to make a $500 contribution to the general Legacy Fund. This is in addition to the $500 contribution we made last month to complete the final payment for the Guiding Star $3000 pledge made by the club two years ago.
To make the event more meaningful, club vice president Lee Chong-ho personally brought two bottles of red wine to toast to the successful, prosperous future of the Friendship Force as well as the Seoul Club.
We also introduced a new music score book, containing 24 songs of various countries to be sung by the club chorus group formally to be inaugurated soon.
